What you will do
- Plan and interpret marine and land geophysical surveys, from acquisition design through to the delivered dataset.
- Reconcile readings that disagree, and record the disagreement rather than averaging it away.
- Set the quality standard field crews work to, and review the data they return.
- Brief clients on what the data supports and, just as clearly, what it does not.
What we look for
- Eight or more years in applied geophysics, with hands-on acquisition experience.
- A degree in geophysics, geology, or a related field.
- Fluent written English; reports go to ministries, state-owned enterprises, and private operators.
- Willingness to spend time on site, not only in the office.
